Dear
Rod, Just wanted to drop you a line about the wheels you built for me
(remember? back in 1993!). After a group pileup today during a 400km Audax,
I was saddened to find my back wheel had gone potato crisp shaped, and
I have decided to finally put it into retirement. Given that I have ridden
just about every Audax I've done since 1993 on these wheels, including,
PBP, LEL and BMB, several long time trials and other general riding, i.e.
14 seasons of hard use, with just a minor tweak to true them now and again,
I think their longevity has been nothing short of AMAZING. Rims don't
tend to wear out in this part of the world, so the life of a wheel comes
down much more to the skill of the builder. This leads me to conclude
that so far as wheelbuilding goes Rod, YOU ARE THE MAN!!! If you ever
need a testimonial, just show them this or or have them contact me. I
will tell them to bow their heads in reverence.....

I
made a visit to your premises on the 21st of June 2007.
I was on a cycle tour from Weston super Mare to Normandy France Our route
took us through Salisbury.
My cycle developed a fault with its rear disc brake. Your staff gave me
a service that was quite frankly second to none.
I was served initially by Jimi (name on the receipt) The cycle was repaired
by Ian. Thank you very much for making my trip a successful one. Please
ensure my sincere thanks are passed to your excellent staff.
