| While, we haven’t gotten any calls indicating that the 909 isn’t fast enough, we just thought you could use a little more speed. The 999 has already proven itself on the world stage. It won gold and bronze in the Time Trial in Athens. It propelled Ivan Basso to his fastest ITT ever in the 2004 Tour de France, and those were just prototypes. The 999 is, hands down, the fastest wheelset on the planet (excluding the Z99). Nothing else can come close to matching the aerodynamics and speed of the 999.
