Completely new for 2008, the E-120 is Whyte’s first full carbon monocoque suspension bike. Starting with a blank sheet of paper we wanted to engineer the Ultimate XC Trail bike. A bike light enough to rocket uphills, stiff enough to fly through twisting singletrack and strong enough to handle drops on the way back down.

Taking no chances with quality we sourced carbon filaments from four of the world’s leading carbon manufacturers, each grade chosen for a specific function. We even designed our own proprietary ‘pre-preg’ to guarantee 100% quality throughout the manufacturing process. To give you an idea of just how complex the manufacturing process is, the swingarm alone is made up of 157 individual carbon fibre pieces!

The E-120 is light enough to race, comfortable enough to ride all day and tough enough to tackle even the most technical man-made or natural trails. We set out to make the Ultimate XC Trail Bike and we can’t help but be pleased with the result. Job done we say.
